So you think you know someone...and it turns out that things are different between you than you once thought. People grow older and grow apart, they start spending less time with best friends and more times with other people. Maybe it's just a phase in their life or they are exploring what a different group of friends would be like. It's not the end of the world for someone to stop talking to you for a little while. The thing is, you shouldn't be afraid to tell someone how you feel about it. If their reaction is negative, then maybe they aren't really as good of friend as you once thought.
Or, maybe, something has happened recently and they are withdrawn. See if you can help figure out the root of the problem. If somebody asks you to cease and desist then by all means stop prying, but sometimes it is reassuring to have someone ask what the problem is. Be it a relationship in game or a relationship in reality, all relationships have meaning. It doesn't matter if you have never met the person before for real, they are still a 'friend' in a sense of the word.
On another note, one of our fellow bloggers recently had his good name dragged through the mud. Autumn over at
Homework in a Graveyard has the full scoop and a small request for you all. Please pay it close attention. Ditto: Here's my personal message to you. Don't let those people get you down. I've got a myriad of song choices to show you but this is my current favorite for that situation (because I'm stuck in Gleek mode...)
Also, Autumn: I hereby Pledge an Oath to Keep the Trust (just so long as you keep me in the loop about which members are/not clear for the blogroll!). On that note, members of the Wizard101 Bloggers' Club, should you choose to make posts in a manner unfitting of this family friendly community you will be swiftly removed from the Bloggers' Club and all affiliation with you shall be revoked. This is not up for debate.
Your Friend Always,
John Lifeglen
